Merle Michaelis is a lettering artist running her own independent studio in Kiel, Germany. Since graduating with a Master’s degree in Typography, she has specialized in lettering and calligraphy. Constantly seeking a balance between precision and spontaneity, she focuses on handmade type design and large-scale lettering. In her shop, Merle sells unique lettering pieces and small handprinted editions made with passion and love. She also shares her knowledge and skills in various courses and workshops.
